Strength By Kailee Falvo

Strength comes from the inside, the strength to do anything.

Not the kind where you can lift a car,

but the kind where you can do anything

I see your strength, but you can't see it.

You can only show it

and let me tell you;

you show it well.

So let your strength show

don't keep it inside.

Because you're going to need to be strong

when the worst things happen.

Mental strength is a huge part of my tapestry theme I continue to explain it through my flash fiction page talking about keeping my cool while playing in a basketball game tryout and wanting to my my best in not only a physical way but a mental way also. "To myself i was mentally preparing for this game i am saying to myself that this is my time to shine and play like i should be a member of this team" (Stern, Flash Fiction). This poem itself talks about in the first line strength coming from the inside. "Strength comes from the inside, the strength to do anything." (Falvo, stanza 1).
